Intel Game On Events For Arizona!

Looking for a way to get some cool swag and play some free games? Well you only need to look at your local Fry’s Electronics store.

The Intel company’s Game On crew has planned two weekend gaming and tech events for Arizona at two select Fry’s Electronics stores, according to a press release. The weekend Game On events are slated to take place on May 1-2 at the Tempe store and May 15-16 at the Phoenix store from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

One of these beautiful puppies will be given away at each event. You can pick up your jaw now.

Uncharted 2 Multiplayer “Siege Pack” DLC Review

The latest DLC for Uncharted 2 has definitely brought the multiplayer modes to a new level of gameplay than the past expansion. The “Siege Pack” adds in two new maps, six new skins, 11 new trophies, and a new co-op mode called Siege.

The Siege DLC features new skins (like Baseball Drake pictured above) AND new maps such as this one, The Highrise.

With the two newest maps: Highrise and The Museum, players are afforded a multi-tiered area for matches ripe with tight corners, high sniping points, and large plateaus perfect for every kind of mode within the multiplayer. Read the rest of this entry »





Insight: There’s a mute button for a reason!

In such a world as that of online gaming, trash talk exchanges between players over headsets is a concept that is not entirely new to the forum.

Can’t find a tourney? 7 tips to finding gaming competitions

As I have said in an earlier blogpost, gaming competitions can be great fun, but also very difficult to get into. Some gamers, (like myself) find themselves in a position where they want to join a tournament but either 1) can’t find any or 2) can only find tournaments that have that wonderful unspoken requirement that you have to be an elite gamer to compete. Well I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to be a ridiculously awesome gamer, or have to travel three states over to find a good tournament.
