Kind of a ‘Meh’ Day for Helghan: A Killzone 3 Review

Killzone 3 officially released on Tuesday alongside fellow first-person shooter Bulletstorm. IncreaseBlue made the tough decision but sided with the Helghast for her pick between the two. She offers her review of it below (caution, spoilers for Killzone 2):

Picking up Killzone 3 was something of a shoo-in for me. I participated in both multiplayer betas and was a big admirer of the second game in the series, so I figured that there was nowhere else to go but up for this game. DEVASTATION announces ranbats at MvC3 event

The DEVASTATION midnight release party for Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds went well received Monday night. Dozens of gamers showed up in attendance for the chance to play the game a few hours before release and win some swag from challenges.

Insight: IncreaseBlue’s HD Remake Wishlist

Upon the recent unveiling of HD screens for both Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell high-definition remakes, as well as the announcement of Oddworld: Abe’s Odysee to get the same treatment, The Pause Button’s own IncreaseBlue thought there should be a few more games worthy of a remake. Final Fantasy VIII-

Say what you want Final Fantasy 7 fans, but Final Fantasy VIII created a great experience for me. Released in 1999, FFVIII was full of assassination plots, love triangles, tests of friendship, and in-game models that appeared to be taller than four-foot-two. Read the rest of this entry »
