This week and weekend are absolutely jam packed with gaming stuff to do for all sorts. No sense in dilly-dally, let’s get started!
Future Is Games convention in Phoenix
-Starts Wednesday and goes till Friday at the Phoenix Convention Center.
-FREE to attend and will host a slew of guest speakers presenting indie games, developer stories and more (including Arizona’s own MegaRan!).

With the conclusion of Saboten Con, AZHP Gaming is continuing their efforts with a Call of Duty Black Ops II tournament this Saturday at the Scottsdale Microsoft Store.
The tournament is set to begin at 2 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. with a 2v2 Deathmatch format. All entrants ages 14 and up are welcome. Prizes will vary, but usually include some sponsored goodies. For more details, check out the Microsoft Gamers Meetup page.
After a slight lull in action last week, gaming events are ratcheting up in Peoria, Scottsdale, and Laveen in the coming days.
Starting off things will be LAN Speed Games in Peoria hosting their monthly Lock-In/All-Nighter event on Friday. For $20 attendees can reserve a seat at the venue for ten hours of straight gaming starting at 10 p.m. Read the rest of this entry »
As Halloween approaches, so do some opportunities for fun gaming experiences for all. This weekend will play host to several events hosted by the likes of Euphoria Gaming and DEVASTATION right up till the end of the month.

Starting off the weekend proper will be the Euphoria Gaming crew hosting their Persona 4: Arena/King of Fighters XIII This is It! Bootcamp event on Saturday. Who knew that the break into March would be such a big one? Several local gaming groups this week are hosting tournaments and events of all kinds, and they’re getting a head start on Wednesday.
