The Xbox One Cometh
19 11 2013With the Xbox One right on the heels of the PS4 release, there’s plenty to be excited about in the gaming scene this weekend!
Xbox One release party
-The Microsoft Store in Scottsdale plans to host a midnight release event in style on Thursday at 10 p.m.
-Free food, drinks, and prizes throughout the night. Team Hazmat will be there hosting a Killer Instinct tournament and launch livestream, while AZHP Gaming will also be present running a Call of Duty: Ghosts tournament and livestream as part of the festivities respectively.

There is a nice mix of FPS and fighting game tournaments happening to fulfill your brisk fall weekend. Read more below to see the competitive throwdowns being hosted by Spiral Series Entertainment and AZHP Gaming.
Spiral Series ranbats at the Gaming Zone
-Three tournaments kicking off on Saturday at 12 p.m. at The Gaming Zone in Tempe.
-$5 entry fee per tournament (including Super Street Fighter 4: AE, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Street Fighter x Tekken), as well as a $5 organizational fee.
-Winners will get a split of the game pot, as well as points to overall ranking in the season.

Spiral Series ranbats and AZHP CoD both boogie on Saturday
2 10 2013This weekend will have plenty of FPS and FGC fun to keep all the masses happy courtesy of AZHP Gaming and Spiral Series Entertainment.
AZHP Gaming hosts CoD at the Microsoft Store
-Happening Saturday at 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Microsoft Store in the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall.
-Black Ops II 2v2 style with UMG rules
-No entry fees and there will be prizes for the winners.
-Contestants 14 and up only can compete. For more details check out the AZHP’s official Facebook event page.
Spiral Series ranbats 1.3
-Happening Saturday at noon at the Gaming Zone in Tempe.
-Three competitions with SFxT (2013 ver.), Super Street Fighter 4: AE (2012 ver.), and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom.
-There is a $5 ‘organizational fee’ and $5 entry fee per each individual game tourney. Pot split will be 60/30/10.
