Halloween gaming hijinks this weekend

As Halloween approaches, there’s plenty of events for all you ghouls and ghosts to enjoy. Some of them include tons of competitions and an annual event presented by the cool folks at LAN Speed Games

Black Ops II at The Gaming Zone

-A 4v4 UMG Black Ops II tournament on Saturday at 12 p.m. run by AZHP Gaming at The Gaming Zone in Tempe.

-Kicks off at 2 p.m. $3 venue fee and $20 entry fee per every team; buy-ins go toward the winners’ pot split at 60/30/10.

There is a nice mix of FPS and fighting game tournaments happening to fulfill your brisk fall weekend. Read more below to see the competitive throwdowns being hosted by Spiral Series Entertainment and AZHP Gaming.

Spiral Series ranbats at the Gaming Zone

-Three tournaments kicking off on Saturday at 12 p.m. at The Gaming Zone in Tempe.

-$5 entry fee per tournament (including Super Street Fighter 4: AE, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Street Fighter x Tekken), as well as a $5 organizational fee. 

-Winners will get a split of the game pot, as well as points to overall ranking in the season.
