FIGCON, AZHP, Hazbats, Black Ops, and a shot at the Danger Room this weekend

FIGCON

This week and weekend are absolutely jam packed with gaming stuff to do for all sorts. No sense in dilly-dally, let’s get started!

Future Is Games convention in Phoenix

-Starts Wednesday and goes till Friday at the Phoenix Convention Center.

-FREE to attend and will host a slew of guest speakers presenting indie games, developer stories and more (including Arizona’s own MegaRan!).

AZHP Gaming hosts tourneys at the Arizona Fur Con

-Starts off Friday at the Embassy Suites in Scottsdale.

-Admission runs from $15-$50 depending on which days you wish to attend.

-The group will be running a huge schedule of tournaments throughout the weekend including Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Black Ops II, Injustice and tons more.

Euphoria Gaming hosts Black Ops II tourney

-Takes place on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe.

-2v2 style with double elimination. No entry fees and a $150 prize for the winning team.

Spiral Series X Brokentier Danger Room qualifiers

-Kicks off Saturday at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe.

-This event will be a qualifier for AZ UMvC3 players to get a shot at training at the “DangerRoom” Brokentier house for 3 days. These special guests will then participate in the Curleh Mustache Battle Royale 2 in December,

-Entrants must be 18 and over. There will be no entry fees. For more details, check out the official Facebook event page.

Hazbat season 5 debut at new venue

-The Team Hazmat ‘Hazbats’ will debut in their new venue at the Microsoft Store in Scottsdale this Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

-The group will only run Injustice: Gods Among Us for this first tourney.
