Titans fall and ranbats away!

 

March is now well underway with tons of spring releases incoming for the competing. This weekend Spiral Series will follow up the fantastic finish to SCR with their third set of ranbats and Titanfall finally lands on consoles and PCs next week.

Spiral Series ranbats 3

-Spiral Series are hosting their third ranbat event at the Gaming Zone in Tempe on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

-Games include Killer Instinct, Street Fighter x Tekken, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. 

-Entrants need to pay a $5 venue fee and $5 for competing in each tournament of their choosing. There will be individual competition payouts and a full season pay out once all the ranbats have concluded. More info here.

February finishers this week!

February is an uber short month and nothing more than a prelude to awesome spring game releases, so to wrap it up properly we’re seeing a nice collection of gaming related events this weekend. 

LAN Speed Games Lock-in returns!

-LAN Speed Games announced that they would hold another Lock-in this Friday in its location in Peoria. For those that don’t know, lock-ins generally kick off at 10 p.m. and gamers don’t emerge from the venue until 8 a.m. the next morning.

Spiral Series kicks off second season of ranbats

Time to break out the fight sticks and shake off that holiday dust as Spiral Series begins their second season of ranking battles this Saturday in Tempe at The Gaming Zone.

As January comes to a wrap (already?!), we’re starting to see a nice uptick in variety for gaming events in the state. This week Arizona will be paid a visit by the Alienware team, as well as another tournament opportunity from AZHP Gaming.

Back in action for 2014

The holidays are over and the seeming freeze on awesome gaming stuff in Arizona appears to be over. The Pause Button is revved and ready to go again with tons of stuff to do. Make your resolutions complete this year by participating in more tournaments and supporting the local scenes that put them on!
