What Just Happened?: Syndicate and Twisted Metal Demo Impressions

Every once in awhile it’s nice to take a pause from fighting games and try other things. The Pause Button’s own IncreaseBlue did just that over the weekend and dove into both The Syndicate and Twisted Metal demos over the weekend. She offers her thoughts on both below:

I need to go back to Soul Calibur V. Things were simpler there.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood gets free DLC

The latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, will be getting free downloadable content on Tuesday.

DeathSpank sequel to premiere 2 months after original debut

The downloadable hack n’ slash role-playing game DeathSpank, will be receiving a sequel game only two months after it debuted on Xbox Live and Playstation Network in July.

The new sequel is titled DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue, and will released onto the Playstation Network on Sept. 21st and on XBLA on Sept. 22nd, as confirmed by GameInformer. Read the rest of this entry »





Gamer opinions fly upon Playstation Plus debut

The newly unveiled Playstation Plus service officially went live on the Playstation network on Wednesday and although it’s only been made available for a few days, gamers are already weighing in with their opinions on whether or not the upgrade is worth the price.

Playstation Plus is an add-on to the already free PSN service, but different in that it provides several different extras to gamers such as PSN store discounts, early access to betas and demos, and free game downloads for a subscription fee. Read the rest of this entry »
