Uncharted 3 Multiplayer: That Sinking Feeling

As per every other review you’ve read about Uncharted 3, it delivers one heck of a storytelling experience that makes it well worth the purchase. However, what exactly came of Naughty Dog’s vow to step up their efforts with multiplayer and deliver an equally awesome game mode? Our own IncreaseBlue delved into the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and breaks down the differences, improvements, and problems.

If you like FPS games or despised the multiplayer in Uncharted 2, then just avoid the multiplayer in Uncharted 3 altogether. It basically poses more of the same thing with few changes. Players can still play deathmatch, plunder, team objective, free-for-all, and co-op modes like in Uncharted 2, with several tweaks and shortcomings. Read the rest of this entry »

Uncharted 3 Villainess Unleashed To The World

At last weeks’ Game Developers Conference in San Fransisco the Naughty Dog team showed off Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception gameplay, story details, and cinematic footage in their event. On Tuesday Sony officially unleashed the previewed cinematic cutscene to the world.

The trailer unveils Drake’s newest adversary, Katherine Marlowe. Marlowe (whose voice actor is unknown as of yet) is apparently apart of an English secret society with ties to the royal court, according to a recent Playstation blog post. Marlowe already appears to know Drake and Sully well from past run-ins and believes that she is the rightful owner of Sir Francis Drake’s ring (as opposed to Nathan who says he’s a direct descendant).
