AZHP Gaming tournaments abound for the end of August

After a bit of a lighter week, competitive action is going full force in Arizona for the last of August.

AZHP Gaming will host their fifth tournament at the Microsoft Store in Scottsdale this Saturday for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The tournament will start at 2 p.m. and be free to enter.

The format has yet to be determined, but there will be prizes for the winners. For more info and to pre-register, check out the AZHP Gaming Facebook event page.

Following up the Black Ops II action, AZHP Gaming plans to be hard at work with their sixth appearance at the 2013 Saboten-Con in Glendale on August 31.

Their tournament schedule will be heavy, including a good mix of fighting games starting on Saturday.

Saturday:
Tekken Tag 2 (PS3) at 12 p.m.
Street Fighter X Tekken (PS3) at 3 p.m.
Super Street fighter IV AE (PS3) at 6 p.m.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 at 9 p.m.

Sunday:
Injustice (PS3) at 12 p.m.
Blazblue: Continuum Shift EXTEND (PS3) at 3 p.m.
Persona 4 Arena (PS3) at 6 p.m.
King of Fighters XIII (PS3) at 9 p.m.

Monday will be the close of the convention with a Call of Duty: Black Ops II tournament at 12 p.m. on Xbox 360.

There will be a slew of prizes available for winners and all tournaments are free to enter with a Saboten Con badge.
