12 09 2012

For those of you who didn’t know, Namco’s latest endeavor in 3D fighters Tekken Tag Tournament 2 released yesterday. A successor to the PS2’s Tekken Tag Tournament, TTT2 is bringing revamped visuals paired with the tagging action that made the first Tag Tournament title such a popular powerhouse.

The good folks at Euphoria Gaming will be hosting a tournament this Saturday at the University of Advancing Technology in room 201 for all players to try their skills in the latest Tag edition.

The tournament will be free to enter and feature both Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Mortal Kombat. Casuals will begin at 2 p.m. with Tekken Tag Tournament 2 starting at 4 p.m. and Mortal Kombat following at 6 p.m.

All players are encouraged to bring their own arcade sticks or fight pads. Prizes include gift cards (for what is unknown) of $30, $20, or $10 deviations for first, second and third in each tournament. For more info, check out their Facebook event page.

Also in the mix, LAN Speed Games are currently taking sign ups for their monthly Lock-In event taking place on September 21st. Reservations cost $20 for a seat and it includes pizza along with hours upon hours of gaming. Sign ups are available on location at LAN Speed Games in Peoria.
