As the summer heat continues to boil, so does the gaming action this weekend, which provides a multitude of gaming opportunities to get your fight on and prove your skill.

On Friday night the Cade Gallery will be hosting their second Fight Klub event with a Mortal Kombat II tournament on their old school cabinet. The competition will kick off at 7 p.m., single elimination, with no entry fees. Prizes include gift cards and t-shirts, as well as bragging rights for the next month.

On Saturday Euphoria Gaming are back in swing with their Super Marvel Madness event. The event will take place at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe and there is a $10 entry fee.

There will be two separate tournaments for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter IV, both of which will be played on the 360. Competition kicks off at 1:30 p.m. and players are encouraged to bring their own arcade sticks or pads.

Finally DEVASTATION is putting the wraps on their first season of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ranbats with round 6 taking place on Sunday at LAN Speed Games.

As per usual practice the tournament has a $1 entry fee and will feature MvC3 on the Xbox 360; again it is encouraged that players bring their own arcade sticks or pads. The best players will receive points towards their ranking at the end of the season.
