With the end of July imminent, there are a few events to celebrate the end of this grueling and exciting month from the likes of Euphoria Gaming and AZHP Gaming.
As our previous post, AZHP Gaming will be entertaining the anime masses at Animeland Tucon this weekend in Tucson. Starting on Friday, they will host a score of tournaments for multiple games including Skullgirls, Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (2012 ver.), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and much more.
Registration passes are $30 and currently available for purchase through the Animeland Tucon website.
Adding to the weekend excitement is Euphoria Gaming with their Guard Impact 2 tournament at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe on Saturday.
The event will be for Mortal Kombat 9 and Soul Calibur V in room 205 at the university. There will be a $5 entry fee per each tournament, with a 70/20/10 pot split for the winners. Casuals will start at 1 p.m. with Mortal Kombat matches starting at 3 p.m., followed up by Soul Calibur V at 5 p.m.
