After the doubly tiring weeks of EVO followed up with San Diego Comicon action, players are returning to their stomping grounds and getting ready for more action.
The folks at LAN Speed Games have been hopping all summer (including their eight year anniversary earlier this month) and are preparing for their upcoming League of Legends tournament. Before that however, they’ll be hosting one of their signature Lock-in/All Nighter events this Friday.
As per usual practice, the lock-in will start at 10 p.m. Friday night and seal players in until 10 a.m. Saturday morning. Early birds can reserve their seats for $17.50 at the LSG location in Peoria, or pony up $20 the day of (provided seats are available).
The crew have upgraded their servers recently and will be hosting contests during the event.
Also in the mix, Arcade Zone Hard Punch recently announced that they will be hosting gaming at Animeland TuCon at the end of the month. Keep with The Pause Button for all the details.

The folks at DEVASTATION unveiled a multiple-game event for Sunday at Centerfolds in Phoenix. The event will start at 4 p.m. with a $5 entry fee (which will also get the entrant unlimited drinks). The games included will be NBA 2K12, Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur V, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. For more information, check out their official Facebook event page.
