The DEVASTATION crew are undoubtedly busy this spring season with multiple release events and ranbats. This weekend they’ll be running yet another Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament in another comic book shop, but closer for all you West siders out there.

The crew will be hosting 64-player bracket MvC3 tournament at Jesse James Comics located at 10620 North 43rd Avenue to celebrate the re-grand opening of the store.
The tournament will have the same run down as the crew’s last MvC3 tournament at Samurai Comics. It will be double elimination with the game played on Xbox 360. Bringing your own controller is highly encouraged since most players use arcade sticks, putting fight pads and controllers in short supply.
Registration for the tournament will begin at 12 p.m. with the competition kicking off at 1 p.m. Prizes will include a $50 Jesse James Comics gift certificate for 1st, $30 certificate for 2nd, $15 for 3rd, and $5 ones for 4th through 8th place winners. The DEVASTATION crew are also known to do a few scavenger hunts via their Twitter and Facebook accounts during the event so there’s a chance for prizes and giveaways there as well.
And if you don’t want to play, Jesses James Comics will also be hosting a Member Appreciation Day main event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sales on in-store items as well as the grand opening of the Six Shooter Ice Cream Parlor will be among the festivities.
